Bell’s Special Double Cream Cream 6.1% abv

Bob: Little old, but holds up nicely. VERY GOOD.

Paul: Easy drinking. I’m getting the coffee GOOD.

Ryan: A little bitter for a cream. Is it a double cream? Would like to see it on nitro. GOOD

Touchstone Brewing “Mayor of Indian Rock” Imperial 9.8% 70 IBU

Ryan: This is a tribute to Dave Altman. Didn’t want it to be too bitter. Chocolate, corn, oatmeal help make it silky.

Bob: Getting the oats. Everything works together. GOOD/VERY GOOD

Paul: Super smooth. Love the lack of aftertaste. Why do I have “…little star, how I wonder what you…” stuck in my head? VERY GOOD

Touchstone Brewing “Black is Beautiful” 10% abv 70 IBU

Ryan: Went with corn instead of oats. You can take the boy out of Baltimore, but you can’t take the Coors out of the brewer.. Lingers a little.

Bob: GOOD/VERY GOOD. One of the better ones of these I’ve tried.

Paul: Aftertaste hangs out for a bit. GOOD/VERY GOOD

Founders “KBS Kentucky Breakfast Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa” Imperial 12.0% abv 45 IBU

Ryan: Natural flavorings are always better than the alternative. Cinnamon blows out everything. Delivers the opposite of what it promises. FAIR

Bob: Any chance we can get the American Cancer Society to sponsor this bad boy? Promises cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon. Didn’t promise the hooch factor. Sweet up front. GOOD/VERY GOOD. Gets a bump for delivering on its promise

Paul: Promises sweet but not too sweet.. This is like a Fireball. FAIR. Not a fan of cinnamon.

El Segundo Small Batch “Standard Crude 2020” Barrel-aged Imperial 11.1% abv

Ryan: expect thick and oil. We like to tell people what they are drinking. GOOD. Minimal aftertaste. Definitely purchased only for the purpose to share.

Bob: Thanks for all the info on the container…that’s sarcasm. FAIR. Soooo boozy.

Paul: GOOD. Less overpowering that the others.

The Block 15 “Imagine” 2019 Barrel-aged Imperial 13% 70 IBU

Ryan: Belgian yeast talk coming in 3, 2, 1… Curious. Strong. Stop hitting me. POOR. Smells great, but it’s too much.

Bob: Saaz? Rhymes with gazzz. Tastes good, but I don’t want more. FAIR/GOOD.

Paul: Super sweet. FAIR/GOOD. This could stand to be smoothed out a little.
