Episode 5: Sac Beer Week At Boneshakers

We're not sure how many we actually test-drove. Seven seems about right. At an average of 12-percent alcohol-by-volume, things started getting a little hazy by the end. Moksa Thicc Nibs Imperial 11.2% abv

JJ: VERY GOOD Luscious dessert

Todd: GOOD/VERY GOOD Tasty, best in small portions. Very rich

Bob: Damned hard to hear in here. Could swear he said Quick Nibs. VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT Big taste, nice, clean finish

Prairie Reconstructed Vanilla

JJ: VERY GOOD

Todd: Very rich. VERY GOOD, smooth

Bob: VERY GOOD Sweet and not much vanilla which is a plus

Great BasinScytale” Imperial 11.8% abv

JJ: Lighter body with bourbon and vanilla VERY GOOD

Todd: Lots of booze, vanilla, light body GOOD/VERY GOOD

Bob:Super booze. GOOD/VERY GOOD

Mikeller Beer Geek Breakfast Oatmeal 7.5% abv

JJ: Danish brewer, brother of Evil Twin’s brewer. Key kegs are a pain

Todd: solid oatmeal. VERY GOOD

Bob: Smooth. What you’d expect. VERY GOOD

Track 7 All That I see

JJ: Nice chocolaty, little kick, smooth VERY GOOD

Todd: EXCELLENT

Bob: VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT, super smooth, clean finish

Drake’s Black Label Draconic

JJ: Love the barrel: VERY GOOD, not overwhelming, vanilla and caramel play well together.

Todd: FAIR. Too much barrel

Bob: GOOD, pretty boozy

Prairie Deconstructed Cocoa Chocolate

JJ: VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT, Open with two or three friends, dark chocolate is a little bitter, nice and dry

Todd: GOOD, a little rich for me.

Bob: VERY GOOD, But somehow I missed the cocoa. Smoothest of the smooth.
