Knee Deep “No Milk Will Ever Be Our Milk” Milk 5.5% abv

Chris: little coffee/chocolate notes because of the malts, good density, little roasty,

Dean: this would be great on nitro. Hopefully, some day.

Bob: VERY GOOD. Skosh bitter, but still very drinkable

Anderson Valley “Bonney Flats” Oatmeal 5.8% abv

Bob: It’s like the Barney Fife of oatmeal stouts. Promises bread, and fruit. Really sweet. FAIR. It might be better categorized as a foreign extra.

Dean: I’m getting darker malts. Not overpowering. GOOD. I wouldn’t buy it, but there’s no flaws in it. Not for me.

Chris: It’s dense. Crystal 120 malt? I like wine and beer. This is pretty sweet. Tastes more like a porter. GOOD. Lots of caramel malt give it that fruitiness.

Knee Deep “Triple BBB’s” American Imperial 9.5% abv

Dean: One of our first. Different types of chocolate, roasted barley. Roasty. Finishes hoppy. I don’t care what Bob thinks.

Bob: Super smooth off the get-go, but finishes really hoppy, reminds me of Sierra Nevada’s American. Delivers as promised which is great if you like hoppy stouts. For me though: FAIR/GOOD.

Chris: Roasty. Pretty dry. Chris nailed it.

Geartooth Alewerks “Father Cog” Imperial 9.5% abv

Bob: I will not apologize for screwing up the name of the brewery if the type on the can is in Ant font. Coffee, chocolate, roasty. Did it go bad? Man, we hope so. POOR/FAIR.

Dean: Smells sweet. I don’t get chocolate, coffee or roasty. Could be old. Not happening. Might be too much alcohol for the flavors. Unpleasant aftertaste.

Chris: Burning, stone fruit. FAIR.

Knee Deep “Raspberry Mocha” Cream 6% abv

Chris: This is a latest variety in a series. I have maybe one a year.

Bob: This is so raspberry, it’s not even funny. If you love raspberries, this has your name on it. I’m not a big raspberry fan though, so it misses me so FAIR/GOOD for my palate but likely excellent if you love berries. Regardless, you have to try this beer!

Dean: Chris nailed the raspberry.

Knee Deep “Snuggle Me” Pastry 6.5% abv

Dean: very sweet. Bunch of chocolate, cacao nibs, fudge, Mexican caramel and coconut. I made this for the sales people.

Bob: Comes in waves. Interesting is an understatement. A must just for the experience. For taste it’s a GOOD/VERY GOOD for delivering as promised. Hat’s off.

Chris: This is a dessert beer. Nice, sweet intro to stouts for people who don’t typically drink them.
